MINDFUNNEL RACING, LLC (“MINDFUNNEL RACING,” “we,” “us”) sells performance automotive parts and accessories through our eBay store and Walmart Marketplace, and publishes build videos and guides on mindfunnelracing.com and our YouTube channel. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
Information you give us
- Newsletter sign-up: your email address. We also record the IP address the sign-up came from, to prevent abuse and spam sign-ups.
- Email to us: if you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message.
Information collected automatically on our website
- Outbound link clicks: when you click a link from our site to eBay or Walmart, we record which link was clicked, the item or search it points to, the page you clicked it from, and a shortened version of your browser’s user-agent (browser and device type). We do not store your IP address with these click records.
- Referral cookie: if you arrive from an AI assistant (for example ChatGPT or Perplexity), we set one cookie,
mf_ai_src, that stores only the assistant’s name and expires after 24 hours. It contains no personal identifier.
- Website analytics: some pages use Metricool, a web analytics service, to measure visits and traffic sources. Metricool may use cookies or similar technologies to do this.
- Fonts: some pages load fonts from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when the font is downloaded.
- Hosting and security logs: our hosting and security providers may process your IP address and basic request information to deliver the site and protect it from attacks.
- We do not use advertising cookies or ad-tracking pixels on our website.
Embedded YouTube videos
Some pages embed videos from YouTube. When you play an embedded video, YouTube (Google) may collect information and set cookies under Google’s Privacy Policy.
Orders placed on eBay or Walmart
Purchases are made on eBay or Walmart Marketplace, not on our website. Payment is handled by those marketplaces; we never receive your payment card details. To fulfill your order, the marketplace provides us your name, shipping address, the items ordered and, where the marketplace shares it, your phone number. eBay’s and Walmart’s own privacy policies also apply to your purchase.
How we use information
- To fulfill and ship orders, provide tracking, handle returns, and answer questions.
- To send order-related messages through the marketplace, such as confirmations and shipping updates.
- To send our newsletter to subscribers who asked for it.
- To understand which pages and products are useful to visitors.
- To keep our website and systems secure and prevent fraud or abuse.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share information only:
- With suppliers and shipping carriers that ship orders directly to you, limited to what they need (name, shipping address, items, and phone number when required for delivery).
- With service providers that host our website, store our data, provide analytics, and send email for us.
- When required by law, or to protect our rights, customers, or the public.
- If our business is sold or merged, as part of that transaction.
YouTube API Services
We use YouTube API Services to upload and manage videos on our own YouTube channel. This tool works only with MINDFUNNEL RACING’s own channel; it does not access, collect, or store data about YouTube viewers or any other YouTube account.
How long we keep information
- Newsletter emails: until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them.
- Order information: as long as needed to fulfill orders, handle returns and warranty claims, and meet tax and legal record-keeping requirements.
- Click records: for site analytics, then deleted or kept only in aggregate.
Your choices and rights
- Unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time using the link in any newsletter email, or by emailing us.
- Access, correct, or delete: email us to request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, or to correct or delete it. We may need to verify your request. Depending on where you live (for example California, Colorado, Virginia, or Texas), you may have additional rights under state law; we honor those requests and will not treat you differently for making one.
- Cookies: you can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site works without them.
Children
Our website and products are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us personal information, email us and we will delete it.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and restricted access to our systems. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will post the new version on this page and update the effective date.
